Hardox® Wearparts
Built to Outlast campaign
Brutal conditions. No compromises. Hardox® wear parts are built to last longer – for longer service intervals, fewer change-outs, and greater profitability. SSAB’s new “Built to Outlast” campaign demonstrates this in impressive fashion, and we were part of it! Congratulations to SSAB and everyone involved in “Built to Outlast”. We are proud to be part of this international campaign.

Strong with Hardox® for decades
The new international image video from Hardox® Wearparts has been launched, and Winkelbauer is featured in it – with full WinkelPOWER!
“Built to Outlast” – This is the motto behind SSAB’s new international Hardox® Wearparts promotional video. Winkelbauer plays a central role in it, bringing its decades of experience in machining Hardox® to the international stage.
Winkelbauer and SSAB have enjoyed a close partnership for almost 30 years. We have been an official Hardox® Wearparts partner since 2002 and process highly wear-resistant Hardox® steels for a wide variety of applications.
Expertise in the toughest steels
This expertise is evident in the new ‘Built to Outlast’ video: Hardox® is used in applications where wear, stress and demanding operating conditions are part of everyday life. From metal and construction material recycling through forestry technology to quarrying, the film showcases products and components manufactured using Winkelbauer’s expertise. For us, ‘Built to Outlast’ is therefore more than just an impressive international film project. It also embodies what sets our day-to-day work apart: expertise in Hardox® machining, a high degree of vertical integration and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies.
In Anger near Weiz, we process high-wear-resistant steels and armour steels up to 150 mm in sheet metal thickness and hardnesses of up to 650 Brinell – from cutting and bending, through machining, to manual and robot-assisted welding.
Congratulations to SSAB and everyone involved in ‘Built to Outlast’. We are proud to be part of this international campaign.
