It is the roots that form the foundation. They ensure stability and durability and date back to 1900. Over the years, Winkelbauer has perfected its expertise in the processing of highly wear-resistant steels from a blacksmith’s workshop for hooves and carriages. Today, the family-run company is one of the leading Hardox processors in Europe.
A passion for innovation, a love of entrepreneurship, a commitment to regionality and a pro-european purchasing policy are the cornerstones of this successful generational history.
Handshake quality, innovative strength and cooperation at eye level: values that characterise Michael Winkelbauer personally and with which he has successfully guided the fortunes of the company for several years. Digitalisation, automation and further qualification are not just topics of the future today. Franz Winkelbauer realised the importance of these topics early on. In addition to his full dedication to innovative construction machinery equipment, he is as committed to young people today as he was then and has continued to develop apprenticeship training in the company and throughout Styria.
“Innovative and loyal employees with the highest quality standards combined with high-quality primary materials such as Hardox steels and teeth from Combi Wear Parts make Winkelbauer a successful company in the past, present – and certainly also in the future.”.
