Safe & healthy working.

AUVA seal of quality

We have been awarded the AUVA seal of approval "Safe and healthy working". This prestigious award confirms our commitment to legally compliant safety and comprehensive concepts for occupational safety and health promotion.

More than

Standard

The AUVA seal of quality is awarded to companies that are characterised by exemplary working conditions and comprehensive measures for accident prevention and health promotion. The award of the seal of quality is not a matter of course for companies. It confirms that safe and healthy working conditions are demonstrably implemented in the company above and beyond the standard.

“For us, the award of the seal of approval is confirmation that our commitment to safe and healthy workplaces is recognised.
As an employer, we have a responsibility to our employees to create the best conditions for them to carry out their work efficiently and safely,” explains operations manager Gernot Schieg.</em

The safe design of workplaces, the provision of high-quality personal protective equipment including appropriate hearing protection, the provision of regular safety training and compliance with legal regulations form the basis for minimising the risk of accidents at work and work-related illnesses, while at the same time increasing the well-being of employees.

The award of the AUVA seal of approval is an important step towards reducing accidents and absenteeism and reflects the enormous commitment to an accident-free and health-promoting working environment.

“This award motivates us to continue setting the highest standards in occupational safety and health promotion
and to offer our employees a safe workplace,” explains Michael Winkelbauer.</em

For apprentices

AUVA Safety Day

Safety training starts from the very first day of training. Once again this year, a voluntary AUVA safety day was organised for all apprentices at Winkelbauer to mark the start of the new apprentices. In a series of stations, the young trainees were taught safe behaviour in the workplace and their awareness of potential sources of danger was sharpened. A total of 24 apprentices took part in the safety day.

“The apprentice safety day in cooperation with AUVA shows how important occupational safety is at Winkelbauer from day one.
This voluntary training, which goes far beyond the legal minimum, raises the apprentices’ awareness and creates a long-term and safe working environment.” Johannes Burger, head of training.
