Rock bucket for Hitachi

Nerinvest d.o.o. in Celje values on Austrian quality: for its new Hitachi ZX690LCH-7 from SMG Macchine, the Slovenian company was looking for a solution that could withstand abrasive material and minimise downtime. With a custom-made 3.2 m³ rock bucket made from Hardox® 500 TUF, Winkelbauer provided the perfect solution.

Everyday life in the quarry at Nerinvest d.o.o. in Celje places the highest demands on man and machine: the rock there – a mixture of limestone and dolomite – puts a strain on the material every time the bucket is excavated. To withstand these stresses, the new rock bucket was equipped with the robust C-REX tooth system and consistently manufactured from highly wear-resistant steel. For maximum durability, HARDOX® 500 TUF is predominantly used (in the base, wear plate and side section) to minimise wear and significantly increase the operating times in the quarry.
